So interesting!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So many different approaches to riffing on Dale Harding and Yoko Ono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Got to get out of my track &#8211; the only difference between a rut and grave is depth. Need to break out of that!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enjoyed how people allowed their environment and surroundings to influence their thoughts and feelings, and then responded to that. I feel that for myself I&#8217;m too much into technique, and not as much into the freedom of expression, so I need to push myself between those two modes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Pati Solomona Tyrell<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mutualart.com\/Artist\/Pati-Solomona-Tyrell\/626906A4D6D12BF3\">https:\/\/www.mutualart.com\/Artist\/Pati-Solomona-Tyrell\/626906A4D6D12BF3<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Art as a healing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Makes Art for himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Incorporates multiple mediums, including costume, film, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Explored gender and sexuality in his earlier work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Answering the questions he has about identity: male\/female\/other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looked at sasa? fafa? as performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fluidity of space referencing fluidity of gender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looked at hierarchy of Samoan culture &#8211; expressed that queer is at lowest ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hard to be in a culture where others in culture don&#8217;t connect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Angela de la Cruz<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Painting as a container for her ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Large scale canvases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Break down paintings. Not sacred anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Had a stroke, so can&#8217;t be as hands on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A painting and a sculpture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Humour is very important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paintings behaving badly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I really like this work!
